3-4 Month Bud Storage Question

Hey DGC,

I grew six plants every grow and get about 60 ounces per grow about 8 to 10 oz. per 15 gallon pots.  I store them in 1 gallon glass jars.  My gaming/smoking area where I keep my stuff is always around 72F-78F.  I do notice little degradation of terpenes within two months due to maybe the heat, moisturize it stays around 55RH. I found a 34 bottle wine fridge that range from 40f to 65F for $180 at Walmart, and fits 7 of my 1 gallons bottles, which is perfect since I use 6 jars for storage. Does anyone think it would be a good investment?

Thanks you

Wine fridge is perfect for storage. Make sure to cover the front glass so light can’t get in. I’ve taped cardboard or insulation board to prevent light leaks. You can keep it at it’s lowest setting around 40 F. As long as you don’t get to down to 32 F (which the unit can’t do anyway), you won’t have any issues with freezing.

Thanks man, I just bought it today and found a coupon online so I got it for $150 a steal it’s an Arctic King 34 bottle fridge.
It’s mostly gonna be in a corner, so I doubt sunlight going to hit it. But I do have some leftover UV protection film that I used on my windows. I probably can just put that on.

You want your bud in complete darkness. Any light will degrade trichomes.
