This is Afghan Kush in DWC. 35 days from the day the seed popped. It has had these markings on it’s leaves right from the start. The only images I’ve found that look like this is TMV. But the plant looks good except for these weird leaf markings. Any ideas?
It’s most likely variegation from a genetic mutation in the parent’s gene pool. I’ve heard TMV can be passed through a seed but that’s probably not the case here. TMV will spread to the other plants in your garden so keep an eye out. If the plant duds then you’ll know. If it doesn’t show any other issues and grows and flowers normally then you’ll know it’s just genetic variegation.
Looks like variegation to me. I’ve gotten that a time or two, but it never seems to affect anything.
