citygonecountry150 – We had a total eclipse in Buffalo. Loved it but it was too played out up until the event. I didn’t know this but there is such a thing as wind caused by the eclipse. Makes sense. The temp changes quickly which causes air to shift. I felt it. The birds went nuts too. Cool experience. I took cuts to clone that day and I’m calling it eclipse weed lol jk. Here is a dgc question. If I was growing outdoor weed during an eclipse, then would the light interruption potentially cause the plant to develop male pollen sacks? I say no because it’s just such a short thing that the plant really doesn’t have enough time to shift to sleep then awake again.

Terpenes:

denniskirsch7354 – I know it got basically passed over, but what Dude was saying about terps near the beginning is pretty cool. It would make sense that some terps would attract beneficial insects, while others would repel insects that are harmful to the plant.

MR-puffnstuff – A close friend of mine had an allergic reaction and almost died from smoking that botanical derived, fake terpene garbage they spray on flowers & extracts. And the sad thing is they don’t tell the customer that the strawberry flavored flower they’re buying has fake strawberry sprayed on it.

Regarding Drying & Curing to Keep Terps:

probong2053 – here’s my question everyone talks so much about the curing process being the most important part, well what do you do if you cannot control temp or humidity levels perfectly to 60 60, is there any cost effective ways to control humidity and temp?
