Hey DGC maybe you can help me out with this one and save me a couple hours on Google. I got a couple bags of composted biochar I don’t know much about biochar and I’m wondering if it would be a good soil amendment and alright to use in the tent.
A good soil mix can be about 10% biochar.
If I were to make some biochar (and I will this summer) I would charge it by burying it in my compost pile for a month or so and let it become the Microbe Hilton.
I love biochar. I used 20% of the composted mix. The restvof the soil matters, I like to mix in bare handed until I get the textur I want.
When I grow in coco, I add 1c biochar per gal of media. I use slightly less in soil but yes definitely I’d still recommend it.
