What’s up DGC long time viewer first time poster. I’ve kept pet reptiles way longer than ive grown or even smoked. A year or so ago I built this fancy turtle tank and my girlfriend uses the water to feed her tropical plants. Its like fish water on steroids because turtles are nasty. A month or so ago i had an extra clone and decided id try a little experiment. The water has a pH of about 8 and stays around 75 degrees but stays moving 24/7. There’s about 70 watts of led that this thing catches the very edge of. Other than what I assume is a magnesium lockout due to the high pH it seems to be pretty happy. I’m not a hydro guy and there’s no way to maintain a photoperiod in the room its in so ill probably never flower it but it’ll make for a cool houseplant.
