I’m gonna use some coco on my next grow, and its been washed 6xs according to manufacturer, but not buffered. My ?. Do I still have to buffer with cal-mag if I’m gonna use Grow Dots and Recharge?
Grow Dots “should” have enough calcium and magnesium but some plants just want more. It’s not a bad idea to have a supplement when/if needed. I would not use a supplement unless you see signs of a deficiency.

Regardless of the brand/type of coco I was using, until I started using calmag regularly I continually had PH/lockout issues. Lately I have been using the FoxFarm 70/30 coco and a half-dose of calmag when watering but the local shop now carries Canna so I may switch back.
If your cannabis plants keep showing Cal-Mag issues no matter how much you feed, the problem isn’t your nutrients. It’s your coco.
